Privacy PolicyBack for a new week of this brain training! This time I’m pulling out some characters from a book of mine, this scene is entirely made up though.
Now it is my time to black out, almost missed this day. ^^:
“Brother…”
“Mh?” Niamell replied distantly. He slightly swayed on his horse sitting slumped like a sack with his eyes closed.
“Brother!” Alloron shouted louder this time.
“What?” Niamell snapped back into the world and stared back at his brother. “Is something wrong?” He looked to their companions and the serene forest around them. The golden sunlight squeezed him with its warm light and his eyelids grew heavy again.
Alloron grinned from ear to ear. “You don’t look quite so well. Maybe you should lay down for a while?”
Niamell shook his head, a motion that nearly threw him off balance. “I’m fine. We are in a hurry, are we not?” He muttered while his chin tipped to his chest. Any reply that followed only registered as a blur in his ears.
He jolted back to consciousness as he suddenly found himself falling through the air. A short moment later he was flat on the ground. Niamell coughed as the dust swirled around him and rolled onto his belly. He thought to get up but his muscles did not respond. Instead he rubbed his eyes with his hands and yawned before relaxing into a full sprawl. Any reasoning that this was not the time or place to fall asleep slipped his mind.
Alloron ran to his side and tugged at him but his brother was already fast asleep.
Other participants: Anastasia V. Pergakis, S Frankie Blooding, and Veronica R. Calisto.
“Excellent showing! And the humor. Lol.”
